On the other hand, the Ayurvedic Course provides a unique opportunity for students to acquire skills in crafting a range of Ayurvedic products. Participants had the chance to delve into the art of making face packs, dhoop sticks, incense sticks, dant manjan, soap, phenyl, and various decoration items, enhancing their knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic practices. The Humanitarian Welfare and Research Foundation (HWARF), a distinguished non-profit NGO dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities, hosted a prestigious certificate distribution ceremony to celebrate the achievements of students who successfully completed the organization's skill development programme in collaboration with Seva Mandal Education Society’s, Smt. Sunanda Pravin Gambhirchand Institute of Paramedical Sciences in Matunga, Mumbai. With a steadfast focus on providing direct and tangible support to the marginalized, HWARF has been transforming lives since its establishment in 2010. The Scheme Jailpal Singh Munda Placement Linked Skill Development Program under Tribal Research And Training Institute (TRTI) Pune and Maharashtra State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) was held at Visanji Ravaji Auditorium on 11th Aug, marked a significant milestone in HWARF's unwavering commitment to fostering learning and growth. A total of 150 deserving students from 5 courses such as X-Ray Technician, Dialysis Technician, Pharmacy Assistant, Medical Records & Health Information Technician and Digital Camera Photography were honored with certificates of completion, symbolizing their dedication to self-improvement and the realization of their potential. HWARF's flagship skill development programme aims to empower individuals from diverse backgrounds by equipping them with essential skills and practical knowledge. This initiative resonates deeply with HWARF's core values of transcending boundaries and creating a platform for comprehensive support to overcome challenges faced by marginalized communities. As part of our regular on-going projects, the program design for empowering women to create livelihood opportunities to build up their confidence and prepare them for SME/ Self Help Group The MSSDS/NSDC program allow the women candidates to enrolled in Self Employed Tailoring course. The 2month skill training is created to skill women belonging to economically weaker sections of the society. The candidates are trained and provided with raw material like threads, needles, clothes, scissors, measure tape, chalk, etc. They are trained for assess body measurements, and using type tools & materials for drafting, Marking the measurements of a garment on a piece of paper with the help of the tools and make the standard patterns. Place the cut components of paper for cutting the cloth, the trainer. Measure the length and width of the material/fabric before starting to cut ,Ensure there are no defects on the material, checks or plaids, etc. The garment is Cut in the various components with precision to avoid fabric/material wastage and preserve in a suitable bundle tied together. The job role of Self Employed tailor defines They can work for different types of employers such as department stores, dry cleaners, textile and apparel manufacturers, they can choose whether they work as a full-time tailor or work only on weekends or to start their own business. Self employed tailor develop technical skills through hands-on training and the powerful skill. This may help improve their resume credentials and find better job opportunities. The successful completion of Self Employed tailor courses allows them to receive certificates and job opportunities in the field of garments manufacturing or self employment.
Dialysis Technician courses conducted at SMES's Smt. Sunanda Pravin Gambhirchand college of Nursing, Matunga, Mumbai. Dialysis Technician course was conducted to benefit science stream candidates passed Xllth to become skilled dialysis technician capable of handling haemodialysis patients. The candidates were trained to prepare patient both physically and psychologically for the dialysis procedure by recording patient details, explaining the procedure and functioning of the machine. The candidates were trained to handle dialysis safety checks for the machine settings, particularly the pressures, conductivity, and temperature. The 3 month courses help candidates to be vigilant regarding the patient’s reactions and monitor venous and arterial pressures, fluid removal and replacement as achieved during the dialysis procedure.Post training the assessment is conducted by government assessor. The successful candidate are eligible to job placement in healthcare sector.
X-ray Technician courses conducted at SMES's Smt. Sunanda Pravin Gambhirchand college of Nursing, Matunga, Mumbai. X-ray Technician course was conducted to benefit Xllth passed candidate to become skilled X-ray Technician. After undergoing training they learn basic human anatomy and physiology, candidates are taught to handle X-ray equipment, develop exposed X-ray films using both wet development and computerized X-ray machines. The 2 month courses help candidates to Basic concepts and production of X-ray, Positioning of the patient, Computerized tomography, Safety procedures and patient care. Post training the assessment is conducted by government assessor. The successful candidates are eligible to work as X-ray Assistant in diagnostic departments of hospitals, diagnostic centers and clinics.
Pharmacy Assistant courses conducted at St. George’s Hospital P D'Mello Rd, opposite GPO, beside CST station, Area, Fort, Mumbai- 400001 Pharmacy Assistant course was conducted to benefit science stream candidates passed Xllth to become skilled Pharmacy Assistant capable of handling pharmacology and their application, manage the drugs supply and order, dispense medication according to the prescription, maintain proper Storage and security condition for Drugs, safety, healthy and secure working Environment. The candidates were trained to handle Structure and Function of Human Body, and Basics of Pharmacology/Classification of Drugs.The One month courses help candidates to Prepared Records, Documentation, Inventory Management, High Alert Medication (HAM) Management, Sanitation, Safety, First Aide, Personal Hygiene, and emergency Medical Response. Post training assessment is conducted by government assessor. The successful candidates are eligible and are provided job placement in healthcare sector.

Diabetes Assistant Date: 29th July 2021 (30 candidates) Congratulations to the 30 candidates who completed the Diabetes Assistant training program. This course equipped them with the necessary knowledge and skills in diabetes management, dietary guidelines, monitoring techniques, and effective support for patients with diabetes. They are now prepared to play a crucial role in helping individuals live healthier lives.
Installation of Free Training Program Skill and Employment program from Maharashtra State Skill Development Society (PMKUVA) at S.No. 172/1, 6, 8 177/3, 6 181/1 part, 181/1, 3, 5 182 and 183, Village Rajavali, Taluka Vasai, District Thane was organized on 10th April 2017 for school ?completed/ & dropout children. Sixty (60) students ?enrolled to avail of free training ICT courses from the background of Tribal and poor backgrounds. The installation was conducted by Dr.Akash Khobragade, Trustee Christine Swaminathan, Director of Program HWARF Mr.Prem Punjabi, Fr. Vitthal Lotada, and a senior priest from Asha Ankur Ashram (The Society of Canossian Sons of Charity) and Professor Anjel Anton Mankar was present. The first day of the installation program was followed by a Speech on the free training program in ICT (Information and Communication and Technology in Account assisting using Tally) and the importance of compulsory attendance through biometrics, after the installation distribution of ID card water bottle, napkins, fruit drink, and snacks were provided to students.
